Angie with AlexIn August, 2002 Angie travelled to the Denver area to join the crew of Professional Sound and Recording, Inc. for a remote DVD shoot involving Indigenous and Alex Degrassi.

July, 2002 - Singer/Songwriter, Drew Fredrickson of Champaign, Illinois Drew Fredrickson has cut his first CD of original material. The project titled "Free To Be Me" was recorded and mixed at Avocado Productions in Oswego, Illinois with Jamie Henrickson at the controls. Avocado owner, Angie Dickinson Wilson assisted and mixed two of the 12 songs included on the CD. A Sample of songs from Drew's new CD can be found in MP3 format below. September, 2001--John Boersma just wrapped up work on his CD project, Road to Glory. John is a Country Gospel singer living in Sandwich, Illinois.

November, 2000--Once again Avocado Productions had the pleasure of recording the recital of Delreen Hafenrichter's vocal students. And once again these were amazing performances. You can contact Delreen Hafenrichter or to recieve your copy of the CD.

June, 2000 -- Avocado Productions welcomed the group, Tagalong, into the studio recently to record their first demo. The song titled, "Sleeping Beauty" was written by drummer/vocalist, Andy Halder. Halder and the other members of the group, Marty Reba, bass and Dan Walsh, guitar and vocals, hope to use the demo to win a performance spot on the Ernie Ball stage at the Van's Warped Tour 2000 this summer. Bands chosen go on for a chance to win a recording contract with Spinrecords.com. Tagalong is a Punk group that has been performing locally for the last year and has twice competed in the Oswego PrairieFest Battle of the Bands.

The song demo was tracked, mixed and pre-mastered entirely in the Avocado Productions Studio with Angie Dickinson Wilson engineering.

March, 2000 -- Breanne Lucka and Erika Anderson Erika and Breanne were in the Avocado Productions Studio finishing vocals on an original composition by Dorcas Kresl. Kresl wrote the song for use by The Oswego Presbyterian Church in the upcoming One Way Street Puppet Competition 2000. Kresl's song entitled "His Grace Will Save You" was recording by Avocado both in the studio and at the church with Dorcas Kresl and Pat Demerath producing.

April, 1999 -- MBR Productions brought recording artists Inlite and Rio into the Avocado Productions Studio recently to finish their current project. The project, tentatively titled "Ghetto Confusion", was mixed at Avocado.

Stan wrote a great song called "My Boo" the demo of which was also recorded at Avocado's Illinois studio.


May 4, 1998-- OHS Principal, Daryl Thompson Avocado Productions welcomed Daryl Thompson, Oswego High School Principal, to its recording studio recently. Mr. Thompson went into the studio to record his part for the Oswego High School stage production of "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying" running May 6-9.

Studio owner, Angie Dickinson Wilson, recorded the session with help from Theatre Director, David Barnes and OHS students, Nathan Books, Rob Hamilton and Melissa Davis.

Avocado Productions has been providing audio production and recording services to the surrounding area for the past 11 years. The company moved its studio to Oswego from Aurora five years ago.

Daryl Thompson passed away in 2003.
He was honored by the Illinois Senate that year.

Piano Recital Pix June, 1998--Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced students of piano teacher, Mrs. Luise May, held a recital at the Oswego Presbyterian Church. Avocado Productions captured the performance, making them available to students and family. Contact Mrs. May or on how to receive a copy.
