I didn't have to pay for an update from the last company that did our On Hold recordings. Why must I pay for updates from you?
You most likely had a contract with the last on hold production company you worked with that outlined a scheduled number of recordings for an annual fee. It is a standard business model that has been followed for years. We started off using that model when we first started in the 1980's. What we discovered, however, was that for most of our customers, the schedules were inconvenient and costly, making the business change recordings whether it was needed or not. We wanted to be more flexible for our customers and only provide recordings when they are needed. Instead of paying annually for recordings, you only pay for a recording when you need a change. Returning customers always get a deep discount.
